New Delhi: Police in Rajasthan has recovered a bag filled with cash at the Jaipur railway station. The cash amounted to Rs 10 lakh 97 thousand. A young man has also ben arrested in this regard.

Accused identified

The arrested accused has been identified as Jitesh Gangaram. The man was headed to Mumbai in the Garib Rath Express train. The youth boarded the train from Sarai Rohilla railway station in New Delhi. He was headed to Bandra.

Police acted on information

The GRP police received information regarding the youth through an informer. Acting on this information, accused Jitesh Gangaram was nabbed at the Jaipur railway station by the GRP police.

Police recovered huge amount of cash

On being checked, the police personnel recovered a huge amount of cash from the bag of the accused. Prima facie the cash appears to be related to hawala business. Police is interrogating the accused. Further investigation in the case is underway.
