New Delhi: A video is going viral on social media after 3 days of an incident where a man can be seen dragging an elderly with a leash after he killed him. The incident took place in Bhagalpur of Bihar and the man is told to be mentally ill.
Bhagalpur SP Amit Ranjan addressed the incident in front of media and informed that the accused killed two people who were aged nearly 55. However, there identity could not be ascertained but the investigation has been initiated already in the matter.
The SP added that the parents of the accused said the man is mentally-ill. The accused live in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur and identified as Mohammed Azad.
Used Bricks, Rods, Chain to Kill the Couple
He said that the man allegedly killed an elderly couple by hitting them with a rod and bricks and then dragged the bodies for nearly 500 metres on the National Highway before throwing them in trash.
The video showed the blamed dragging the dead body while cars and trucks were passing and no one appears to be paying consideration. The police has arrested the suspect.
Concurring to reports, the blamed used bricks, sticks and press chains to assault an elderly man and his spouse on the thruway. He kept on beat them until they were dead.
Accused Ran Away From House Where He was Chained
As per the media reports, the man escaped his house three days prior to the incident where he was chained. The incident was reported to the police by the locals who came and took the man into custody.
