Bihar to become an Industrial Hub: Dialogue with Investors held in Delhi under the BIPP-2025 Package

At the conclusion of the session, officials answered questions and highlighted how the BIPP-2025, with provisions for free land, unique financial incentives, and a strong business environment, aims to transform Bihar's industrial landscape.

A dialogue session with investors regarding the newly approved Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025 (BIPP-2025) was held by the Department of Industry at the Lalit Hotel in Delhi. The package had previously been launched in Patna, and this event was organised as part of the same initiative in Delhi. Industry Minister Nitish Mishra attended the event as the chief guest. Additional Chief Secretary Mihir Kumar Singh, BIADA Managing Director Shri Kundan Kumar, Chairman of the Bihar Chapter Shri Gaurav Shah, Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce Prabhat Kumar Sinha, MD of Bharat Plus Shri Ajay Singh, and other senior officials were also present.

During the event, Additional Chief Secretary Mihir Kumar Singh delivered an extensive presentation on the policy framework and investment incentives. He elaborated on key provisions of the package, such as free land allocation, financial incentives, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the business environment. Shri Singh also emphasized that the package was designed to make Bihar an attractive destination for investors and accelerate industrial development.

Industry Minister Nitish Mishra praised the BIPP-2025, stating, “This package is a historic step for Bihar’s industrial development. It will not only attract investment but also create new employment opportunities for the state’s youth. This package will play a crucial role in making Bihar a leader in the industrial sector. Our goal is for Bihar to emerge as an industrial powerhouse, not only in India but also on the global stage. Through this policy, we are committed to providing every possible support to investors, fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in Bihar.”

BIADA Managing Director Shri Kundan Kumar noted, “This package will not only provide better facilities for entrepreneurs but will also accelerate job creation and economic growth. It is an important step in making Bihar a leader on the industrial map.”

It is important to note that after the BIADA Amnesty Policy 2025, the government of Bihar has implemented the new Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package (BIPP) – 2025 to encourage industries.

At the end of the program, Secretary of the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, Shri B. Kartikeya Dhanji, thanked all the attendees for their participation.
