What actually happened?
According to the victim’s account, the night of July 9 saw the entire household retiring to bed after dinner. In a chilling turn of events, a group of assailants suddenly stormed the house in Jaitpur area of Saraiya, abducting the 13-year-old girl amidst resistance. The perpetrators subjected her to physical abuse she was taken with force in a vehicle.
On August 5, around 8 pm, an ominous call from an unknown number sent shivers down the spine of the victim’s family. The caller chillingly informed them that their daughter was at Saraiya Chowk and demanded her retrieval. Upon reaching the location, they discovered their daughter in a state of distress, recounting the horrifying incidents that had unfolded.
Heart-wrenching testimony
During an emotional exchange on Saturday night, the victim revealed that she was subjected to heinous acts multiple times by the accused youth and his accomplices. The assault had been ongoing, marking a dark period of captivity and torment.

Muzaffarpur police station’s officer-in Charge, Vijay Kumar Singh, confirmed that a medical examination would be conducted for the victim, and her statement would be recorded under Section 164 of the CrPC.
