They had been spending beautiful moments with each other for three years. Sachin used to live in Balangir but commuted to Raipur for work and stayed at a relative’s house. Tanu used to meet him there. This series lasted about three years.
Tanu’s disappearance worried family
Tanu’s disappearance concerned the family on November 21, 2022. She wasn’t at home, nor was she answering the phone. Her family travelled from Korba to Raipur and then to Tanu’s PG. But it was discovered that she had not yet arrived. Following that, the family went to the Mova police station and reported the daughter’s disappearance. Tanu’s missing person report was filed on November 22nd.
Half-burned girl’s body discovered in forest
According to media reports, Sachin communicated with the girl’s family during her disappearance and assured them that she was safe and would be home soon. He communicated with the girl’s family members via WhatsApp and messages. However, one day, the family received a call informing them that a half-dead body of a girl was discovered in the forest of Turikela area of Balangir district. The relatives arrived in Odisha on November 30 and identified their deceased daughter.
Tanu was pressuring Sachin to marry
Tanu arrived in Balangir with Sachin after leaving the bank, according to the investigation. She put pressure on Sachin to marry her. After a fight, Sachin shot her and attempted to burn her body by pouring petrol on it to conceal it. Though the accused is still at large, police in Chhattisgarh and Odisha are on the lookout for him.
