Odisha SHOCKER: 5 Killed, 4 Injured As Nomadic Group Clash Over Alleged Extramarital Affair Turns Violent

Police stations of the neighboring districts, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur have been alerted to check bus station, railway stations and other places in search of the attackers, Said the DIG of Sundargarh

Three women and two others were killed after a clash between two nomadic groups. This shocking incident happened last night in the Sundargarh district of Odisha over alleged extramarital affairs.

According to police officials, a nomadic group from the Wardha district of Maharashtra has been staying in the Karamdihi area of the Odisha district for several months. They had set their tents in the villages and were selling household items made of iron.

As per Brijesh Roy, deputy inspector general of police (western range),“A man named Abinash Pawar, who belonged to the Maharashtra group, stayed with his wife and son there. A few months ago, Pawar’s wife had an extramarital affair and eloped with her paramour. Pawar then brought home a woman from another nomadic group, resulting in a rift between the two groups. On Tuesday night, Pawar’s group was asleep when the other group allegedly attacked them with sharp-edged weapons and killed five people. Pawar, a woman and two other children were critically injured.”

The attackers Abducted The Wife And Kids!

In the violent clash between nomadic groups, which left five dead, the attackers abducted Pawar’s second wife and two children before fleeing the scene. The DIG of Sundargarh stated that police in neighboring districts, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur, have been alerted. They have been asked to monitor bus stations, railway stations, and other locations to locate the attackers.
