Noida: The Yamuna authority has taken a big decision in the interest of women. Companies set up in the Yamuna Authority area have to open crèches for the upbringing of minor children of working women. For this, the authority will amend the building bylaws, which include Toy City, Apparel Park, Medical Device Park, etc. Overall, it will be made mandatory for the company management to make crèches.

Chief Executive Officer of the Yamuna Authority, Dr Arunveer Singh, said women have to stay at home for at least three years to take care of small children, and due to this, their careers get affected. Ensure that crèches will be made in the companies to be set up in the Yamuna Authority area. After this, the map of the company will be passed, and the completion certificate will be available.

The Yamuna Authority will amend the company’s building bylaws in this matter. Along with the amendment in the building bylaws, after allotting the plot to the company, the allotment letter will also mention the construction of a crèche. The Yamuna Authority will become the first government body in Uttar Pradesh to take this decision.
