A shocking development has come to light in rape case of a 3-year-old girl in Noida School. According to TOI report, the girl’s mother said that her daughter was molested by the same man a few weeks ago. This revelation by girl’s mother has raised question on school’s authority and management. Notably, the three-year-old girl was raped by a housekeeping staff of the school.
What Did The Mother Say?
The mother told TOI that on 4 October, the housekeeping staff had taken her to medical room of school, locked the doors and sexually assaulted the child. He leapt out of the window when he was noticed by another staff who had come to the room after hearing the girl’s scream. She further added that after the incident, her daughter was taken back to the class by a teacher. However, when the teacher was asked about the incident, she claimed that the girl might have seen some inappropriate videos.
The mother mentioned that the girl had refused to go to school on October 7 and complained of pain in private parts. She was taken to the doctor and some tests were conducted. Next day, the doctor informed the parents that there was no infection but the child had been sexually assaulted.
The girl was then taken for counselling where she confided that ‘Khana Bhaiya’ (person who distributed food at school) had ‘pricked’ her private parts with stick. The mother added that few weeks back, the same man had molested her when she was on slide at school’s playground.
The girl also revealed to her parents that she had told about the incident to her teacher, but the latter had asked to not tell anyone. “Gharpe mat batana,” said the teacher.
Her parents had filed complaint with Sector 20 police station on 10 October and investigation was carried by the police. DCP Noida, Ram Badan Singh had earlier told TOI, that the accused has been booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) section 65 (2) and relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). The police arrested him on 10 October and said that the school administration will also be questioned.
However, the school administered had denied about occurrence of any such statement. In an official statement released by the school, it said, “Considering the kind of security and systems that are in place at the school, the incident in question is unlikely. No evidence has been found in the CCTV ARC footage examined by the police so far.” The school has extended support to the parents and the police. Further investigation is underway by the police.”
