Noida: Noida Power Company Limited has installed four vending machines in its three offices to make the city plastic-free. A coupon will be given for inserting an empty plastic bottle and an aluminium bottle into this machine. You can use this coupon at select stores.

NPCL Vice President Operation Sarnath Ganguly said that the Central Government and the Government of Uttar Pradesh want to make the whole country plastic-free. A continuous campaign is going on regarding this. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started a campaign to make the state plastic-free.

Due to this campaign, NPCL has installed four reserve vending machines at Knowledge Park-4, Tech Zone-4, and its other offices. Persons will be given a coupon for putting 200-ml and 2.5-litre bottles in this machine. You can use it at shops. T-shirts and bags will be made from these plastic bottles. He said that so far, 481 bottles have come through the machine. Which are being recycled.
