Noida: In a surprising case, a man from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly got arrested for murdering a rat with his bike. The action was taken after the video went viral on social media. However, now Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh has issued an order in this matter.
Zainul Abdeen, a 24-year-old eatery owner, was taken into custody on Sunday following the resurfacing of a video on social media depicting him running over a rat with his motorcycle. The arrest came after two individuals visited his home and attacked his brother, as stated by the police.

Vineet Yadav, station house officer of the Phase-3 police station, said, “In order to maintain law and order in the area, Zainul was also booked under section 290 (causing nuisance) of the IPC and arrested.”
Noida police clarification:
The police have charged the accused Zainuddin with a cognisable offence under Section 151 of the CrPC (Code of Criminal Procedure).

Now Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh cancelled the arrest of Jainuddin on Monday. Central Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police Anil Kumar Yadav has been ordered for a departmental inquiry. On the other hand, it has been said in a media report that the statement of the police station also changed after the matter reached the commissioner. The police are now saying that the arrest was made in connection with the assault.
