Noida: During his visit to Noida, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gifted the Parthala flyover to the people of the city. After the opening of this flyover, lakhs of vehicles in Noida and Greater Noida West have gotten rid of the jam at Parthala. This Parthala flyover will be under the supervision of engineers for the next 15 days and will keep an eye on other facts ranging from cable to structure and road engineering as the pressure of traffic vehicles increases. In two days of testing, the flyover has met all the standards. The construction agency will be responsible for the maintenance of the flyover for four years.
The cable suspension bridge has been built at the Parthala flyover roundabout. To reach this bridge, a 207-metre-long ramp has been made towards Greater Noida, and the length of the ramp in Noida is 287 metres with 220 girders and three pillars, and the middle part is suspended on 28 cables. The length of the flyover is 600 metres, and it has a 6-lane road. This bridge will save 30 to 45 minutes in travel time for the drivers.
The work on the Parthala flyover started in December 2020. Since then, several deadlines have lapsed. Although its construction should have been completed in June 2022, that deadline was also met. The construction of the Parthala flyover was completed only a few weeks ago. It was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Yogi Adityanath on Sunday.
