Noida: There is preparation to build a guest house for the Uttar Pradesh government near the Sector-148 metro station adjacent to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. In Sector-148, about 11,000 square metres of land have been identified at par with the powerhouse. 40 thousand square metres of land were sought from the state government. Its design will be decided by the state government, while the construction will be done by the Noida Authority.
At present, there is no official place for the ministers and officers of the Uttar Pradesh government to stay in Noida-Greater Noida. Unlike other cities in the state, there is no circuit house here. Bijli Ghar has a guest house in Sector-38 in Noida, but it is neither in a big area nor has many facilities. Apart from this, the Authority has taken some cells from its level, in which the officials coming for work related to the Authority are accommodated.
whereas Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida is where the Chief Minister and other ministers stay. UP Bhawan has been built in Delhi, where ministers stay. Now the UP government has asked the Noida Authority to mark the land for building a guest house in Noida itself. On the instructions of the government, the Noida authority has identified 11,000 square metres of land adjacent to the Sector-148 powerhouse on a 45-metre road.
Noida Authority officials told me that about 40 thousand square metres of land have been sought from the government. At present, 11 thousand square metres of land have been identified and are in the possession of the authority. A proposal has been prepared by the work circle and sent to the planning department. From here, one can reach Delhi on one side, the Yamuna expressway on the other side, and different parts of UP in a very short time. The ACEO of the Noida Authority, Satish Pal, says that the amount of land demanded by the state government for the guest house has not been made available. Information about this is being sent to the government.
