Noida: The district has implemented a new traffic management system on the instructions of Gautam Budha Nagar Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh. Under this, the Gautam Budh Nagar Police has divided the district into two zones for better traffic management and streamlining of traffic in both Noida and Greater Noida. Which consists of seven circles. Senior police officers involved in the exercise said each traffic circle will cover three to five police station areas.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Suniti said about the changes made in the district’s traffic system on Friday that the new system will reduce the pressure on the traffic personnel with the new changes coming into force on Thursday. Some areas of Zone 1 have been shifted to Zone 2 to reduce the burden on traffic inspectors and ensure better traffic movement in Zone 1.
Traffic Inspector Ashutosh Singh told that Zone 1 is divided into four circles.
Circle 1 consists of Sector 20, Phase 1, and Sector 24.
Circle 2 consists of Sector 24, Sector 58, Sector 63, Phase 3, and Sector 113.
Circle 3 consists of Sector 126, Sector 39, and the Motorway.
Phase 2, Sector 49, and Sector 142 are in Circle 4.
Zone 2, which covers the Greater Noida area, has three traffic circles.
Circle 5 includes Ecotech 3, Bisrakh, Badalpur, Dadri, and Jarcha.
Circle 6 consists of Surajpur, Knowledge Park, Beta 2, and Kasna areas.
Circle 7 includes Ecotech 1, Dankaur, Rabupura, and Jewar.
