Noida: Noida is celebrating its 48th foundation day with great pomp as it will gift 46 projects to the residents of the city. Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for these projects, which are worth about 333 crores.
From sports to cultural programmes, on the occasion of the 48th Foundation Day, On Sunday, there will be a workshop from 3 to 4.30 pm, a discussion with experts on legacy waste and wastewater from 4.30 to 5.30 pm, and a drama programme related to cleanliness from 5.30 to 6.30 pm. A music and dance programme will be organised from 6:30 to 8:30 in the evening. Mumbai’s famous Dharavi rock band will play tunes, and folk singer Maithili Thakur will perform on Noida’s birthday on April 17. A two-day shooting competition will also be organised by the authority on April 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The programmes will start at 11 a.m. on April 17. Awards and citations will be distributed from 12.30 to 1.45 p.m. State’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta, aka “Nandi,” who is present as the chief guest, will address the gathering from a quarter past one to half past one. The people of the city have been invited to this event.
