Noida: The Noida Expressway will get wider, and for this, the Noida Authority has entrusted the responsibility to a company. However, the survey report has been rejected by Chief Executive Officer Ritu Maheshwari, IAS, who ordered a fresh survey with a video report and gave a presentation.

The Noida Authority has decided to widen the Expressway from the Mahamaya flyover to Gautam Buddha Gate near Sector-14A. A company has been entrusted with the task of finding out how to increase the width of the Expressway. The company surveyed the road from Mahamaya flyover to Gautam Buddha Gate for the last 15 days, but the report was rejected by CEO Ritu Maheshwari on Friday. Ritu Maheshwari has instructed us to prepare a video report along with the survey report. Now video surveys will be conducted through static cameras and drones.

The Noida-Greater Noida is a six-lane Expressway constructed in 2002 that connects Mahamaya Flyover in Noida and Pari Chowk in Greater Noida. This Expressway is being extended to the Taj Economic Zone, an international airport, and an aviation hub to be built along the Yamuna Expressway. The Expressway is 24.53 km long and was built at a cost of Rs 400 crore to relieve the old Delhi-Agra National Highway.
