Noida: It has been more than a month since the launch of the E-Cycle service by the Noida Authority. Currently, more than 100 e-bikes are being used daily by commuters. The maximum ride in this is for Greno West. The company says that after booking e-cycles, they are taking and dropping off the cycles at Greno West on the ride days. After a lot of effort, the cycles are brought back to Noida from there, and the machinery of the cycles is tampered with too. Daily, 10 to 12 cases have been reported.

Turban Mobility was selected to operate the e-cycle. The agency started with nine locations on the first day. At present, it is being operated from 28 places, against the target of 31 places. 10–10 e-cycles are being run at each place. E-cycle projects are to be run in two phases. It will take time for the second phase of service to start. The e-cycle service started in the first phase itself still has many flaws, which the agency is trying to deal with.
