Noida: On Friday, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma and Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr Jais Lal inaugurated the water cooler installed in the premises of the postmortem house located in Sector 94, Noida. Employees have been instructed on the proper maintenance of water coolers.
Rajan Srivastava said, “I consider myself fortunate that they got the opportunity to install water coolers on the campus. The department is expected to maintain the goods properly. Please tell me that seven to eight dead bodies come daily to the postmortem house, but here people are not getting even drinking water. The water cooler installed here was faulty.”
He added that the relatives who visit the postmortem house have to quench their thirst by buying cold water; even employees and doctors were forced to drink water from the adjacent crematorium. Chitragupt Sabha Trust Noida and Narayan Sanskritik Chetna Nyas had earlier installed a submersible, but due to the problem of water doctors, the employees faced trouble doing the postmortem.
