Noida: Basic Education Officer Noida, Aishwarya Lakshmi has changed the school timings because of the extreme heat. In the new guidelines, students studying in classes I to VIII in government and private schools will have classes until 1 p.m.

Due to the scorching heat in recent days, the health of the students in the schools has deteriorated. Many educational associations were constantly demanding changes in school timing. The delegation of the Primary Teachers Association, Gautam Budh Nagar, on Wednesday, demanded a change of time from the District Magistrate and Basic Education Officer. After this, in view of the children, a new guideline has been issued by the Basic Education Officer.

Aishwarya Lakshmi said that the council, non-government-aided primary, junior high, and recognised schools from classes one to eight, run by the Basic Education Council, will have holiday time starting Friday at one o’clock. The timing for teachers and staff will remain the same. The order will be followed in all schools.
