Noida: The Noida Authority is going to make Brahmaputra Market, located in Sector 29, a model for other markets in the city. The open space outside the shops and the footpath will be made fresh with stone. Along with this, new benches and fountains will also be installed. The authority has prepared its detailed project report (DPR). Work will start soon.
Preparations are on to beautify this market before the G-20 conference. For this event, the work of beautification and improvement of basic facilities is being done in Noida by spending crores of rupees.
A Noida authority official told me that many things have to be done before the G-20. The Brahmaputra market has also been selected for this. This market will be seen in only one colour. Also, boards of the same colour and size will be outside each shop. Each shopkeeper will be allowed to put up only one board. Apart from this, the entire market will be made plastic-free. The work circle has prepared the DPR for the work to be done in the market.
