Noida: The Noida Authority and Police are preparing to install CCTV cameras at 10 new places to reduce road accidents and crack down on rulebreakers. For this, the traffic police have written a letter to the Noida Authority. Hi-tech cameras will be installed at these places.
Officials said that the cameras have been asked to be installed again on the MP-to-elevated road soon. At present, 1065 cameras are installed at about 79 places in the city through ISTMS. Apart from these, CCTV cameras have been installed at around 24 hot spots. Under Safe City, there is a plan to install 1500 cameras at about 650 places in the coming years. This RFP has been issued to select the consultant.
Areas to have cameras
Surveillance and ANPR cameras will be installed at the DND toll plaza.
Surveillance cameras will be installed on the DND toll climbing loop.
Surveillance and PTZ cameras will be installed at the gate of Film City.
Surveillance and speed cameras will be installed on the elevated road.
PTZ cameras and a PA system will be installed near the Sector-37 police post.
Surveillance, PTZ, and ANPR cameras will be installed near Chijarsi SJM Hospital.
Surveillance, PTZ, and ANPR cameras will be installed in front of the Bahalolpur police post.
Surveillance and speed cameras will be installed on the Bahalolpur bridge.
Surveillance, PTZ, and ANPR cameras will be installed on the way to the Sector-76 metro station.
Sector-95 Dalit Prerna Sthal Gate Number-5 surveillance, PTZ cameras, and a PA system will be installed.
