New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav Saturday stated that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has no aspiration to become Prime Minister. He said Kumar is currently focusing on bringing Opposition together.
Said the Deputy CM of Bihar: “He (CM Nitish Kumar) is the CM and we’re working under his guidance. The only agenda he has right now is bringing all opposition together. He has no desire to become the PM.”
However, CM Nitish Kumar himself clarified multiple times in the past that he is not thinking to go for Prime Minister’s post.
Earlier this month, Nitish Kumar visited Delhi to meet key leaders of the Opposition including Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal.
In Delhi, he also met CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yenchury and CPI leader D Raja.
While talking to the reporters, Yechury said, “We welcome that he (Nitish Kumar) came to this office once again. This is a positive sign for the politics in the country. Opposition parties have to save the country and Constitution, together.
