New Delhi: As the horrific details of the Nikki murder case, the police has found out that accused Sahil had allegedly killed his girlfriend on the same day he got engagged to another girl. He killed Nikki hours after the ceremony on February 9.

Following this, Sahil married his fiance next day.

The accused had a fight with his girlfriend Nikki in a car where he strangled her to death using a cable wire and then, kept her body in a freezer of a dhabha owned by Sahil’s family in south-west Delhi.

The incident made to the headlines on the Valentine’s Day, February 14, when the police recovered the body from the freezer.

Sahil was confused about keeping or breaking up the relationship

A police officer informed that Sahil Gehlot was torn between going ahead with his relationship with Nikki. During interrogation, the accused Sahil Gehlot told the police that he had left Nikki Yadav’s rented house about 15 days before the incident, but came to Nikki’s house on February 9, shortly after the engagement, and spent the night there.

Nikki and Sahil were to go on Himachal trip instead of Goa

According to information, Nikki Yadav and Sahil wanted to go on a Goa trip. Nikki had already booked ticket for her. However, she could not book Sahil’s ticket. The two drove to the Kashmere Gate to catch bus.

Meanwhile, the accused parked his car and the two started talking about marriage. The conversation turned into a debate in a while, then in anger Sahil Gehlot strangled Nikki Yadav and she died in a while.

The last rites of Nikki Yadav were performed on Wednesday evening in her native village in Jhajjar, Haryana. The body of Nikki Yadav was recovered from the fridge of Dhaba on Tuesday morning, four days after the murder.
