Newborn, 8-yr-old die in LPG cylinder blast in Noida

New Delhi: A LPG gas explosion took place in Noida slum on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday which killed an 8-year-old boy along with a newborn girl who was just 12 days old, informed the officials.

As per the media reports, the cylinder was blasted due to a leakage of the LPG gas.

The two kids died while undergoing the treatment whereas other six injured were reffered to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

The police was informed around 3 pm on Saturday about the fire. After which, two fire tenders were immediately sent to the incident spot to douse the fire. The matter is being investigated further.
