Mumbai: Amid the ongoing tussle between the newly created factions in Nationalist Congress Party(NCP), the Ajit Pawar camp on Tuesday left red faced after a bunch of keys of NCP’s new office went missing.
In a step to claim control over NCP, Ajit Pawar was scheduled to inaugurate a new party office near the state secretariat. But, when leaders of his faction reached office, they found the door locked.
Later, young party members broke the lock of front door so that they can enter into the Bungalow to make arrangement for inauguration. But, once they went inside the doors of rooms inside were locked too.
The bungalow was earlier allotted to Ambada Danve, a leader of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray). He has shifted to another bungalow allotted to him.
According to NCP leader Appa Sawant, the personal assistant of Mr Danve locked up the bungalow and left. He said that all the arrangements were made for the inauguration.
Ajit Pawar along with his 8 colleagues joined the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government. While Pawar was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister, the other MLAs took oath as ministers.
