Navi Mumbai Hit And Run: Drunk Driver Rams Woman, Hits Parked Vehicles In Kamothe Area; CCTV Footage Goes Viral

The CCTV footage of the hit-and-run case is going viral on social media platforms. It has been learnt that the injured woman was taken to the MGM hospital to receive medical treatment.

Mumbai: A hit-and-run case took place in Navi Mumbai’s Kamothe area on Sunday, June 22. In the incident that occurred late evening, the drunk driver hit a woman while moving at a high speed. According to the police, the man didn’t even stop and check on her, and continued to drive. Meanwhile, he also hit other vehicles that were parked near the Sarovar Hotel in Kamothe Sector 6A.

The CCTV footage of the hit-and-run case is going viral on social media platforms. It has been learnt that the injured woman was taken to the MGM hospital to receive medical treatment. On the other hand, the locals present at the scene during the accident caught the car driver and beat him up. He was handed over to the police, and a case has been filed against him. Further investigations are underway. Once the injured woman’s condition becomes stable, her statement will be recorded.
