Mumbai: Woman Found With Wrist Slashed and ‘I Am Sorry’ Message At Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Bathroom

Mumbai: A shocking incident unfolded at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Railway Station in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon. A young woman was found in a critical state in one of the station’s bathrooms, the Government railway police said. The woman, between 20 and 27 years of age, reportedly slashed her wrist in the bathroom between 12 pm to 2 pm.

The words “I am sorry” were discovered written on the floor, thus adding to the unsettling event. The authorities immediately rushed her to the nearby hospital where she is currently receiving medical treatment. Meanwhile, the police is actively investigating to uncover more details regarding the incident. The woman however, remains unidentified.

In yet another incident that took place in Maharashtra’s Palghar, a 25-year-old woman allegedly died by hanging herself at her apartment, police said. The incident took place in the Nallasopara area on February 26, 2025. The reason behind her extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, a case of accidental death has been registered by the police. According to the deceased woman’s mother, she would get angry over petty issues and hurt herself.
