The weather forecasters have urged residents in Maharashtra to stay indoors and exercise caution as the relentless rain could trigger massive traffic snarls and vehicle breakdowns. Moreover, if the rainy conditions worsen, chances of roads turning into rivers are high. Wear masks and carry an umbrella while stepping outside.

Train services, flight operations, and public transport could also be potentially hit as heavy rain is expected over multiple districts of Maharashtra. Follow the Mumbai Regional Meteorological Centre and IMD for the latest updates.
