Mumbai Weather Update: Pre-monsoon showers set foot in Mumbai on Tuesday, leading to waterlogging and traffic disruptions in several regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted rainfall to further intensify in the coming days. A yellow alert is in place over Mumbai as heavy rain is expected to lash the city. Residents are advised to follow the latest weather advisories to stay updated.

Mumbai Weather Forecast For Next 5 Days

As per IMD’s latest weather forecast, Mumbaikars will wake up to a generally cloudy sky with intermittent rainfall today, June 18, 2025. Thereafter, on June 19 and 20, the city is set to witness heavy rains accompanied by a cloudy sky. IMD has sounded an alert for torrential rain until June 20 and again on June 22. No warning has been issued for June 21, 23, and 24; however, light showers are expected to continue over Mumbai.

Yellow Alert: Thane, Mumbai, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nasik, Ghats of Nasik, Ghats of Kolhapur, Jalna, Akola, Amravati, Buldhana, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchitroli, Nagpur, Gondhia, Wardha, Yatvatmal, Washim

Orange Alert: Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Ghats of Pune, Ghats of Satara

The ongoing spell of heavy downpour may affect Maharashtra’s low-lying areas, leading to potential delays and disruptions. Residents must plan their journey accordingly, as flight, train, and metro services can trigger massive traffic snarls, especially during peak hours.
