Mumbai: Birdev Siddhappa Done of Yamge village of Kagal taluka of Kolhapur, has made his family and entire district proud by passing the most difficult examination, UPSC. This becomes an example of hard work and dedication where Birdev, who belongs to the Shephard family, has passed the most difficult exam in the country. Birdev secured 551 rank in the examination.
By securing 551 rank in the country, Birdev has proved that lack of resources can never become a hurdle in the path of success. The special thing was that when the UPSC result was declared, Birdev was grazing sheep with his parents in the Athani area of Belgaum. Even today, his family lives in a hut.
With No Coaching To Cracking UPSC
The journey of clearing the exam was not easy for Birdev. Despite failing for two times in the UPSC, he did not give up. He never took coaching from any big city or guidance from any official. This success is proof of his hard work, discipline, and confidence. The journey of Birdev is the inspiration for many people who have the courage to dream big even in difficult circumstances.
