Nashik: In a shocking incident that has been reported from Sinnar taluka of Maharashtra’s Nashik, a 16-year-old died by suicide due to alleged harrasment by two youth and a minor in her village.

The class 10 student took the extreme step on Tuesday night. After which, a chaos broke out in the village. In a suicide note purpotedly left by the victim, the girl mentioned the names of Vaibhav Vilas Gorane, Ankush Shivaji Dhulsainder and a minor child. She accused that the three were harrassing her and her family as well as trying to ruin her image in the village. 

Vaishnavi, the victim, had an argument with three villagers who were harrassing a few girls standing in the school premises. These three went to her house and tortured her and her father and yelled at the girl saying that she has no right to live by hanging her father.

Accused Threatened and Assaulted Father, Girl 

The accused had also threatened to take her life. This distressed the girl and she took her life. The police has apprehended the three accused in the matter and initiated an investigation.

Meanwhile, the villagers gathered as soon as they got to know about the alleged suicide. The angry villagers marched directly to the Vavi police station and refused to take possession of the dead girl’s body.

After this, with the help of Assistant Police Inspector Chetan Lokhande, the dead girl’s body was taken into guardianship for cremation. The The father has filed a complaint in this matter and a case has been registered against three persons for abetting self-murder in Vavi police station.
