Citizens can access health info
Under the digital transformative drive, the chatbot will offer citizens easy access to health-related information, create awareness about diseases, and provide details about the nearest healthcare centres and health campaigns. The chatbot is available on the mobile number 9892993368.
Digital platform to ensure quick access
BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani said that the digital platform will provide easy access to citizens for health-related services. He added that technology would save people’s time and prove efficient during healthcare emergencies.
Citizens can register for OPD appointment services
Citizens can register for OPD appointment services through the chatbot. Other services such as health certificates, birth and death certificates, marriage registration, disability certificates, and home licences can also be availed through the platform.
In the near future, the chatbot will also update citizens about health schemes sponsored by the state and central governments. It was also reported that the BMC will further introduce a dedicated health chatbot through which residents can check the availability of hospital beds and get real-time information about available services.
