Mumbai: A 15-year-old girl from Mumbai committed suicide over not being allowed to use the phone. She jumped off a seven-story building in suburban Malad.
After recovering the body the police traced her parents. Though the exact motive for the suicide remained unknown, authorities believe the girl was distraught because her family members allegedly stole her phone, according to the official, who added that an investigation was underway.
In another incident, an MBA student allegedly committed suicide in the Jamia Nagar district of South East Delhi on the night of Saturday and Sunday, according to police, as reported by the news agency ANI. According to police, no suicide note was retrieved from the student, and the exact motive for the kid’s drastic action is still unknown.
