MP: Train catches fire in Ratlam, panic among passengers

Madhya Pradesh: Ratlam-Dr Ambedkar Nagar DEMU train caught fire in two coaches on Sunday Morning around 7 am at Pritam Nagar Railway Station in MP’s Ratlam district. All the passengers were safe.

Khemraj Meena, Western Railway’s Ratlan division public relations officer said that the incident took place after leaving Ratlam station when the driving motor coach of the train caught fire at Pritam station.

He added that later the adjoining coach also caught fire and after that fire tenders rush to control the situation and brought things under control.

The DRM left for the spot to witness and analyse the situation. The incident did not affect the traffic.
