The struggle between humans and animals in the Korba woods of Chhattisgarh is not going away. The most recent occurrence occurred in Teliamar village, which is located in the Pasan police station area. Duvasia Bai, 45, and her 11-year-old daughter Sunita had gone to a local village farm to collect soil. Both were attacked by a wild boar while digging the soil. Duvasiya fought with the boar, disregarding her own life, to save her daughter. Duvasiya’s breath ceased during the half-hour-long struggle between the two. The pig perished on the spot as well.

The story of the woman’s and wild boar’s deaths spread to the forest fire, and the locals assembled in the area. The Forest Department personnel arrived on the scene and began taking the necessary actions. Numerous wound marks have been discovered on the woman’s body. The boar was discovered dead on the scene as well. It is not difficult to predict how intense the struggle would have been between the two based on how they perished on the spot.

Sunita, the deceased woman’s daughter, stated that her mother was digging the earth. There was a swarm of pigs nearby. To the deceased’s daughter, the herd of pigs appeared like a herd of buffaloes from a distance. When she saw pigs approaching her, she began running. When his mother saw this, she attacked the boar. She then dashed home and notified her father. But the woman died before anyone could arrive.

Rs 25,000 offered as compensation
Pasan Ranger Ramniwas Dahayat stated that he arrived on the scene with the team as soon as the incident was reported. It was discovered that both the pig and the woman had died. The relatives of the dead have been compensated with 25,000 rupees. After finishing the Panchnama process, the dead body of the woman was sent for PM, while the wild boar’s PM will be done by the vet.
