Sikar: The post-mortem examination of gangsters Raju Theth and Tarachand Kadwasara took place on Monday, the third day after they were shot dead allegedly by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After the post-mortem from the medical board, the lifeless remains of both were handed over to their relatives in the midst of a mob of hundreds of people. A team of three doctors removed more than 25 bullets from Raju Theth’s body during this time. Tarachand was confirmed to have taken two bullets.

Following the post-mortem, both bodies were returned to their native village. Theth’s body was carried to Tehat village under police protection, where it was cremated after 55 hours following the last darshan at home.

Manish alias Bachiya and Vikram Gurjar, the murder accused, were introduced in court amid heavy security. Both were taken to the police station and placed on detention for seven days. Jatin and Satish, who were hit by bullets, will be brought to court after receiving care.

Gunshot wounds on face, shoulder, chest

According to accounts, bullets were discovered only in the upper section of Raju Theth’s torso during the post-mortem. Bullets were discovered on his chest, shoulder, and face.

Bullets fired outside Theth’s house

Significantly, gangster Raju Theth was killed down by four shooters on Saturday while standing outside the residence on Piprali Road. While fleeing, they killed Tarachand Kadwasara, a Nagaur resident who had come to see his daughter in the hostel with the goal of robbing his car.

The police chased Manish, a resident of Neemkathana, and Vikram Gurjar, a resident of Khandela, Dabla, Satish, Jatin, and a minor, all Haryana residents, from the slopes of Paunkh village in Jhunjhunu. Satish and Jatin were brought to the government hospital after being injured by the police in reprisal for the accused’s firing at Paunkh.
