New Delhi: A case of rape of a minor girl has come to light from Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The youth who committed the crime already knew the girl. He also took a picture while committing abusive behavior with the girl. He also posted posted the picture of the heinous act as his status on social media. Police registered a case against the accused and sent him to jail.
The village where the brutal crime occurred comes under Atarra police station. The minor was going home after working on the cattle farm. It is alleged, while she was returning a man caught the minor and took her to the field and then raped her. He also took a picture of the minor while raping her and then she put her a status.
Minor girl somehow escaped
Meanwhile, the minor girl somehow escaped from the clutches of the young man and reached home. She narrated this ordeal to his family members and they lodged a complaint with the police.
Accused is a relative of the victim
ASP Laxmi Niwas Mishra told that the accused boy and the victim already knew each other. In the investigation so far, it has been found that both of them are minors.
She further told that on the complaint of the victim’s family, a case has been registered under the relevant sections. Along with this, the accused has been arrested and sent to jail. At the same time, in response to the question of increasing crimes in Banda, the ASP said that continuous efforts are being made to make people more aware.
Similar case occurred a day back
A day earlier there was a case of kidnapping and raping a minor girl in the district. It is alleged that two youths of the village took her with them and raped her. Along with this, they also made obscene videos from mobile and also threatened to kill her.
