New Delhi: Making a clarion call for MCD elections, the Aam Aadmi Party convened a high-level meeting of all its 250 candidates to brainstorm on its campaign strategy and methods to bring it into action.
Riding on the massive transformation brought by its government, the party has now set its sight to hold the reins of the MCD and solve the civic issues which have immensely troubled the people of Delhi for decades.
DY CM Manish Sisodia, AAP Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai, AAP MCD In-charge and MLA Durgesh Pathak and Senior AAP Leader and MLA Ms Atishi chaired a meeting in the presence of senior party leaders and workers.
They discussed decentralised strategy and instructed the candidates instructed to hold Pad yatras, Door-to-door campaigns and Jan Sabha on booth level. Candidates were also directed to personally monitor preparation and reach out to the public on ground.
Manish Sisodia said, “Thoroughly remember that holding 4-5 Jan Samvads on every booth is a key step during an election campaign.
Senior AAP leader Gopal Rai said, “We have to deploy as many people on every booth as possible; Larger the number, better the preparation.
