New Delhi: A fire broke out at the neonatal hospital in New Delhi’s Vaishali Colony. Nine fire engines were sent to the spot after the fire was reported. On the other hand, all 20 newborns present in the hospital during the incident were safely evacuated from the hospital by the Delhi Fire Service team. The newborns have now been shifted to nearby hospitals.
Police said that out of 20 newborns, 13 were shifted to Arya Hospital Janakpuri, 2 to Dwarka Mod Newborn Hospital, and 2 others to JK Hospital Janakpuri, while 3 were discharged from Vaishali Newborn Hospital.

They told us that there are 20 newborns there and they are facing difficulty as the lane is narrow. We sent about four more fire tenders. We reached there on time and the fire was extinguished.
