Man beheads sister: In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old man in UP’s Barabanki district on Friday walked to the Police Station with the severed head of his Sister, who he killed over her alleged relationship, Police informed. (Man beheads sister)
The incident occurred in Mithwara Village in the Fatehpur area of UP’s Barabanki following a clash between Riyaz and his sister Aashifa, 18 years old.
According to police information, Riyaz behead his sister with a sharp weapon and reached the police station with her head in his hand. The police took him into custody.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Ashutosh Mishra informed that her sister Aashifa was involved in love with Chand Babu who is a resident of the same village. She recently eloped with him. However, Aashifa and Chand Babu were caught by the police a few days later of the elopement and Chand Babu was sent to jail based on the complaint of the girl’s family members.
A Police team reached crime spot where the woman was beheaded. Her body was sent for the postmortem after collecting the required evidence, The ASP added.
According to the locals, Riyaz was against his sister’s relationship and both were often fighting over the issue, the police said.
A case has been registered and the accused has been sent to jail. Further investigation in the case is underway.
