New Delhi: After refusing to share his meal with another person, a man in Delhi was stabbed to death today, according to the police. The event happened late last night in the national capital’s Karol Bagh neighbourhood.
A drunk man approached two men who were eating in a rickshaw. After he requested food, Munna, 40, gave him a roti (flat bread).
The drunkard asked for another ‘roti’ but they denied. He became enraged by this and began abusing the two men in the rickshaw.
Then, according to Shweta Chauhan, deputy commissioner of police for Central Delhi, he pulled a knife out and stabbed Munna.
When Munna arrived at the RML Hospital, medical staff pronounced him dead.
Police identified the suspect as 26-year-old Agra native Feroz Khan after viewing the CCTV footage.
Khan was taken into custody. Police found him sleeping at a park in Karol Bagh.
