High tide waves have hit Marine Drive, Mumbai in Maharashtra. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a high tide alert following heavy rainfall in the state.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has posted warning against high tide on their X.

Notably, Mumbai was on red alert on 26 September and heavy downpour wreaked havoc in the city.

As per IMD forecast, тАШmoderate rainтАЩ has been predicted for Mumbai and тАШyellow alertтАЩ has been issued for Maharashtra. Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Akola, Amravati and Buldhana districts are on yellow alert.

Reportedly four death were reported from different parts of Maharashtra due to intense rainfall on 26 September.
