Lucknow: In the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, Monday will witness a solemn tone as the House will pay homage to ten departed former MLAs. Among them are Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. The state assembly will witness a presentation of a message grieving the loss of Atiq and Ashraf. This heartfelt tribute will be presented in the presence of assembly leaders, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna.

Addressing the BJP Legislative Party's meeting on Sunday evening, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged all members to actively participate in the legislative proceedings starting from Monday. He emphasized on the significance of engaging in meaningful discussions on public issues and responding effectively to the opposition's questions. The assembly hall witnessed the presence of not only BJP members but also the coalition partners Apna Dal (S), Nishad Party, and Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party. Ensuring Safety: Enhanced security measures for MLAs

In response to concerns regarding MLA's safety, CM Yogi Adityanath assured party leaders that security would be strengthened at MLA residences, and CCTVs will be installed if necessary. In addition to this, the members can freely raise issues about the drought-affected districts during the session. The call for removing GST on MLA funds was also discussed during the all-party meeting, highlighting the government's commitment to addressing critical matters affecting the public. As the legislative session commences, emotions run high as the assembly pays tribute to the departed MLAs while gearing up for meaningful discussions and impactful responses.
