Lucknow: Like the whole nation Uttar Pradesh is also gearing up for the grand celebration of Independence Day 2023. In a special move on the occasion, Multiplexes will screen patriotic films free of cost for the public in the capital city of Lucknow.
According to information, Surya Pal Gangwar, the district magistrate for Lucknow, issued an order for the same.
“On the national festival ‘Independence Day-2023,’ patriotic films will be screened without charge in the multiplexes operated in the district just like last year,” the order read.
The general public and students can watch free movies in multiplex on a first-come, first-served basis. The administration has also announced the schedule of films and a list of movie theatres.

The notification also includes Inax Umrao Nishatganj, Inax Crown Chinhat Faizabad Road, Inax River Side Mall Gomti Nagar, Inax Garden Galleria Mall Telibagh, Moviemax Alambagh Bus Stand, Inax Emerald Ashiyana, Inax Plasio Gomti Nagar Extension,
A similar directive was issued last year before independence day.
