New Delhi: In a shocking punishment to a minor student who failed to recite table of 2, a teacher in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur allegedly used a drill machine on student’s hand.

The incident took place in Kanpur’s Upper Primary School Model Prem Nagar where the teacher used the drilling machine on a student of class 5, reported the news agency IANS.

As per media reports, the teachers entered the class with a drill machine. He plugged in the cable and touched the child’s arm leaving bruises on it. Meanwhile, another student switched off the button to save his friend.

After this, the victim recieved a minor treatment and then, sent to his home. The teachers tried to cover up the matter but failed as the parents of the injured reached the school to create ruckus about insane punishment.

The uproar caused a huge scene following a strict action against the instructor. The latter was removed from his post. The school authorities believed that the instructor meant to only frighten the student but the machine was accidently touched the victim’s hand.

The teacher was an instructor who was assigned at the school through a government scheme to give training to the stduents.
