New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday informed the Allahabad High Court that the female constable who was found soaked in blood on August 30 was in stable condition and was being treated in a hospital in Lucknow.
Further informing the court, the state government mentioned that the victim was not in a condition to speak so her statement could not be recorded. The court was satisfied with the progress.
The 40-year-old policewoman was found in a ‘pool of blood’ inside the general compartment of of the Saryu Express train at Ayodhya Junction railway station on August 30.

Superintendent of Police (Railway) Pooja Yadav was present in the court along with other officials and lawyers. Meanwhile, Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad, Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar and Additional Superintendent (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar visited her at Lucknow Hospital on Monday.
High Court Took Suo Motu
On Sunday, the Allahabad High Court took suo motu about the alleged attack on the female officer. Chief Justice Pritinker Diwaker, based on WhatsApp messages, summoned a bench consisting himself and Judge Ashutosh Srivastava to his residence.
The court ordered a hearing on the case on Monday noon and directed he state counsel to place the case diary before the court. He also asked the investigating police officer to continue to appear in court.

Constable was found unconscious with stab wounds to the inside of the cabin. She was assigned to the Women’s Helpline in Sultanpur.
Following a complaint by the victim’s brother, FIRs were filed against unidentified persons under IPC Sections 307 (intentional murder), 332 (intentional injury to a public official) and 353 (attack with force to deter an official) in the state of Ayodhya. PRV station.
