Lucknow: The newly inaugurated Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express’s window panes cracked as three men pelted stones on the semi-high speed train near Ayodhya. 

According to information, The accused did so because the train mowed down a herd of goats yesterday. The three men involved in the act have been arrested, said UP Police. 

“The Window Panes of two coaches of the Vande Bharat Express Were partially damaged as it passed through Sohawal area of Raunahi police station area around 9 am on Tuesday,” said Railway protection Force. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vande Bharat Train connecting Gorakhpur to state capital Lucknow on July 7. The train covers the distance between the two major cities in 4 to 4:30 hours.
