Lucknow: A woman, 18, was raped in an auto rickshaw and then thrown out at prominent crossing in the central part in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh. The girl was returning from coaching classes when the incident took place.
As per the information by police, the auto rickshaw driver and his aide took the girl to a secluded place where she was sexually assualted.
The teen woman told the police that she was threatened to kill by the driver’s aide if she resists.
In her complaint, the victim said that the driver changed the route midway. She said she objected it and asked the driver to stop but he did not.
The perpetrators hit her head when she started yelling to raise alarm. They also took her phone and assaulted her for three hours in turns. They also stopped by at a fuel station before they pushed the girl off the auto.
When the accused abandoned the girl, she noticed a police van nearby and approached them. Police took her to home and asked her to file complaint next day.
After registering an FIR, the police have charged the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). They formed several teams to nab the culprits.
