New Delhi: Lucknow police has arrested the infamous murderer Sufiyan in the Nidhi Gupta murder case after an encounter. Police had an encounter with Sufiyan in Dubagga area. He was shot in the leg following which he was arrested. He was then taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

Sufiyan has been accused of making Nidhi convert into Islam and later killing her. The Lucknow Police Commissionerate had announced a reward of 25 thousand on Sufiyan. The relatives of the victim had accused Sufiyan of throwing Nidhi from the terrace.

Lucknow police was raiding multiple locations for Sufiyan’s arrest

After the death of Nidhi Gupta, the Lucknow Police was continuously raiding for the arrest of Sufiyan. More than half a dozen teams of Lucknow Police were following Sufiyan. In surveillance, the last location of Sufiyan’s phone was found in Chowk. A team was also sent to Delhi to look for Sufiyan. Meanwhile, his location was to be in the Dubagga area.
