Greater Noida: As soon as Sawan started, Kavadias from Noida started leaving for Haridwar. Due to this roadway, buses started their service for Kanwariyas from Kasna Depot, Pari Chowk, and Sector-35 in Greater Noida. 20 buses are reserved for Kanwaris on the instructions of the state government.

ARM NP Singh of Noida Depot said that 100 buses have to be operated so that the Kanwariyas do not face any problems during the journey. In the first phase, 40 buses are running. Seeing the number of Kanwaris, buses will be available for Haridwar around the clock.

Things that are banned

While carrying Kanwad, its height has also been causing accidents. This time, its height has been kept at a maximum of 12 feet. Kanwar will not be allowed higher than this.

Kanwariyas will not be able to carry sharp objects like spears or Trishul with them.

There will be no ban on DJs during the Kanwar Yatra, but the administration will have control. Obscene or provocative songs will not be played on the DJ. Apart from this, there will be control over how loud the DJ can play.
