New Delhi: As many as two children lost their lives after a mud house collapsed in Samole village in Muttal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district due to landslides. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha has expressed grief to the bereaved families while also directing the administration to provide full assistance.
“Extremely pained by the loss of lives due to house collapse in Muttal, Udhampur. My deepest condolences to bereaved family in this hour of grief. Directed district administration to provide necessary assistance to the affected family,” said the LG Office.

In the horrific incident, two kids — a 3-year-old and a 2-month-old — died. The rescue teams rushed to the spot as soon as they received information.
The rescue teams recovered the dead bodies from the debris of the collapsed house.
